Are you an experienced Sales Manager who leads a telephone sales based team of 10 or more?

You will be leading and motivating a large team (10 plus) of Sales peoplewho negotiate deals all day long – most of whom are experienced but are open and wanting to be inspired.
We want to find out how you inspire, how you motivate and how you lead.
What will be doing in this role?
Managing the sales team
All HR sickness, holidays abscences
Rotas in place and ensure these are communicated to your team
Where and when required put in place Performance Improvement plans
Action disciplinary proceedures if required
Above all keep and enhance the team culture of excellence and achievement
Conduct monthly 121s with each team member
Monthly 121s are backed by mid month reviews
Engerise your team with morning meetings
Take daily figures
Monitoring and analysing sales performance for individuals and the team
Training and coaching
Create a weekly inspiring department wide meeting or workshop
Listen to calls on a regular basis providing feedback on an individual basis.
Engage and facilitate the team in any company wide training and coaching activities.
Promote and encourage the use of self-coaching.
Ensure all new team members have a full induction plan that is adhered to.
Assist in training and coaching individuals on a PIP.
Meet a minimum of once a week with the assigned QA and sales training team.
Liaise with the sales trainers for any matter above and collaborate with them to ensure the best of training and coaching resources within the business.
Strategic business actions
Create a quarterly strategic plan for your department to be presented to other department managers and directors.
Ensure the strategy plan is updated monthly.
Create and distribute monthly targets in line with your strategy plan, ensuring it is viable and in line with other departments targets and strategy.
Ensure that staffing levels remain sufficient using recruitment and/or internal movement and/or promotion.
Meet with partner companies to enhance relationships
Review bills and costings from 3rd party suppliers and ensure that 3rd party suppliers are being used in an effective and cost-effective manner.
