Are you a leader and motivator of Internal B2B Sales Teams? Are you ready for an exceptional opportunity to take a brand new Internal Sales Manager role and make it your own by training and developing your team? Previously part of the National Accounts Team this Internal Sales Team of 4 (nearly ready to be 5) are looking forward to getting a Manager dedicated to them and their clients. They want YOU to foster their growth and development whilst actively managing key accounts and contributing to overall growth. You will be proactive and commercially mind adept at clear communication, a natural sales person who can share your enthusiasm for sales with your team. My client is in the construction sector but construction experience is not required – just stunning Sales Team Leadership in the B2B sector. YOU WILL: Lead and Inspire a high-performing Internal Sales Team managing a customer portfolio several million pounds spend Manage and Grow Key Accounts, fostering long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving additional sales within existing agreements. Identify and Secure New Business Opportunities by nurturing prospects, developing relationships, and aligning efforts with company growth targets. Oversee and Optimise the Sales Pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up, effective lead conversion, and accurate forecasting. Collaborate Across Sales Teams to share insights, strategies, and best practices that enhance performance company-wide. Provide Regular Sales Reports and Analysis on performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management. Contribute to Sales Strategy Development, supporting initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion. Promote a Collaborative, Results-Driven Culture by mentoring and motivating the team while generating new business alongside them. YOU WILL BRING TO THIS ROLE: Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with digital tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems. Customer-focused mindset, consistently demonstrating a service-oriented approach. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks. Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding customer needs and proposing effective alternative solutions. Proven key account management skills, fostering long-term, value-driven relationships. 3 years plus experience of leading a B2B sales team.
