Your background could be in interior design, catering, or hotels as long as you have some event planning experience and a creative edge with strong attention to detail. A Floristry background would be a bonus but is not essential.

The Purpose of Your Role will be:

  • To support in the design and delivery of exceptional floral events from concept to installation, contributing creatively to proposals and client experiences.
  • This role will assist the wider events and sales team by transforming client briefs into inspiring mood boards, compelling presentations, and seamless on-site execution.
  • The Events Designer plays a vital role in upholding our brand values through consistent quality, innovation, and collaboration.

Day to Day it will be:

  • Create mood boards and proposal decks in response to event briefs, ensuring creative alignment with the brand.
  • Assist with incoming enquiries and proposal admin.
  • Attend and support site visits, taking notes and photographs to inform design development.
  • Be present throughout the entire customer journey, from brief to post-event review, ensuring every client interaction reflects my client’s values and service excellence.
  • Participate in installations, ensuring excellence in delivery and fostering positive venue/client relationships.
  • Be on hand during event prep and delivery to respond to real-time client or team needs ensuring each event runs smoothly and feels exceptional.
  • Support the wider team in operational planning, liaison with logistics, and on-the-day event prep.
  • Develop in-depth venue knowledge, contributing to event feasibility and proposal tailoring.
  • Help manage post-event feedback and reviews.
  • Maintain an organised archive of mood boards, templates, and case studies for internal reference.
  • Develop a good operational knowledge of all accredited venues.
  • Always be able to think creatively and generate original ideas with an interest in design and a keen eye for detail.

What YOU will bring to the role:

  • A natural flair for storytelling and design – able to interpret client vision into creative concepts.
  • Organisational and time management skills – able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Clear communication and confident client-facing skills.
  • Experience of CRM systems.
  • Design presentation skills – able to use tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CAD for layouts and event visuals would be beneficial.
  • A real interest in floral and event design trends, luxury hospitality, and brand storytelling.

This role is based in Windsor working mainly 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday. There will be some overtime in the evenings and a few weekends throughout the year. Travel to their London location will also be an occasional requirement.

You will be joining a Team of 5 and there is a clear career path to Senior Design if you wish – there’s lots of development and mentoring to help you.
