The YOU we are looking for loves payroll and wants to be part of a team where they can grow and develop their career. Ideally, the YOU we are looking for has in-house payroll experience in a large company but we will consider bureau experience too. The YOU we are looking for will be happy working on 4 different payrolls: 3 weekly and 1 monthly, sharing the workload with your team members. The YOU are looking for will want the opportunity to progress to Senior Payroll Officer.

Day to Day you will be:

  • Processing holiday requests
  • Input and manage sickness absence
  • Monthly reports such as employee movements and starters and leavers
  • Inputting new starters & leavers on to the payroll system
  • Timesheet input for both weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Reconciliation of payrolls
  • Assist with yearly salary review process
  • Processing sickness and statutory payments
  • Wage reconciliations for both weekly and monthly payroll for the Accounts department
  • Process commissions, bonuses, overtime and expenses for both weekly and monthly payroll
  • Housekeeping of payroll documentation and reports
  • Keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date
  • Distribution of pay slips
  • Assisting Fleet Manager with administration tasks
