We are seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement strategies, supply chain operations, and the end-to-end flow of goods to ensure cost-efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of products and services. You must have experience in buying raw products – ideally polypropylene – having extensive experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
There are 4 main parts to this role:
- Procurement Management
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to acquire goods and services efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal terms, costs, and quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with organizational policies, transparency, and ethical standards.
- Supply Chain Oversight
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain processes, including sourcing, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and transport providers to maintain smooth operations and prevent delays or shortages.
- Analyse demand forecasts and stock levels to optimise inventory and avoid disruptions.
- Process Optimization and Leadership
- Streamline and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery.
- Lead a team of supply chain and procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
- Financial and Reporting Responsibilities
- Oversee budget planning, track supply chain costs, and identify opportunities for savings.
- Prepare reports and present insights on procurement, inventory, and distribution performance to senior management.
