An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join the sales team of a well-established and highly regarded UK housebuilder operating across the South East. This role is ideal for someone with new homes sales or property sales experience who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and thrives in a target-driven setting. As a Senior Sales Negotiator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team while helping to drive reservations and successfully progress sales through to completion.
The project involves high-end housing, well designed and competitively priced with 2 years left to run on the development.
The Role
Working closely with the Sales Management team, you will be responsible for managing the sales journey from the first customer enquiry through to completion, ensuring buyers receive an exceptional experience throughout the process. You will also provide day-to-day support to Sales Negotiators on site and assist with the smooth running of the development sales office.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide potential buyers through show homes and available plots
- Build strong relationships with customers and support them throughout the home-buying process
- Manage reservations and help progress sales through to exchange and completion
- Liaise with solicitors, mortgage advisers, and internal teams to keep sales progressing smoothly
- Support and mentor Sales Negotiators within the team
- Maintain accurate records using internal CRM systems
- Work towards and exceed sales targets set by management
- Ensure show homes and the sales environment are always presented to a high standard
- Assist customers with any post-completion queries where required
About You
The successful candidate will be confident, customer-focused, and highly organised with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will ideally have:
- Experience in new homes sales, estate agency, or property sales
- A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Good knowledge of the home-buying and conveyancing process
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work in a target-driven sales environment
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
