Potensis are delighted to partner with a Leading National Residential Developer who are seeking an experienced and driven Land Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Your expertise in identifying, negotiating, and securing prime residential development opportunities will support our client’s highly ambitious growth targets.
- Land Acquisition: Identify, appraise, and secure land acquisition opportunities to meet development targets. This includes evaluating potential sites, conducting feasibility studies, and assessing financial viability.
- Project Oversight: Manage complex, high-value land acquisitions from initial feasibility to contract negotiation and final purchase, ensuring each project aligns with company objectives and financial targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate successful negotiations and long-term partnerships.
- Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, working closely with planning, legal, and finance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all land transactions and negotiations. Prepare and present regular updates and reports for senior management, highlighting opportunities, risks, and status of ongoing projects.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of land valuation, development viability assessments, and financial appraisals.
- Knowledge of local planning policies and regulatory frameworks within the Greater London area.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with landowners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills to assess land potential and identify development opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
For the right candidate, my client is willing to offer:
- A Market Leading Base Salary
- A 25% bonus
- A Car Allowance of £6,000.
