Potensis Selection is delighted to partner with an award winning Residential Developer who are looking to expand their existing team and recruit an additional Assistant Development Manager. The business has built an excellent reputation for place-making and delivering design led projects throughout the South East for the last 20 years, delivering private, affordable, and private rented sector ("PRS") homes in partnership with local authorities and housing associations. Due to a series of project wins they are looking to recruit an additional Assistant Development Manager to add to their existing team.
This person would help to shape and deliver the overall development strategy for housing led developments in the South East; providing advice at the pre-acquisition stage and then delivering through all aspects of the design and planning process.
Additional Responsibilities will include:
- Working to develop the Project Brief, including site constraints, design principles, program, etc.
- Manage the project's financial viability and update on a regular basis (i.e. projected revenue, construction costs, program, consultant fees, and land costs).
- Appoint the project team, including architect, planning consultancy, design consultant team and any other relevant external consultant teams.
- Manage the planning application for the development from inception through to the successful delivery of planning permission.
- Prepare, monitor and drive the agreed development program to ensure the project meets all agreed project milestones.
- Establish and implement a robust handover strategy to the Delivery Team.
- Forge effective relationships with JV and Affordable Housing partners.
- Ensure the project is managed through to the successful granting of planning permission.
