Potensis Selection is pleased to partner with an award-winning Mixed Use Developer who are looking to expand their existing team and recruit a Design Director. The business has developed an enviable reputation for consistently delivering high-end, complex and design-led projects across the capital for over 20 years. Due to an expansion of workload, they are now looking to attract and recruit a Director to help shape and deliver the design strategy for a range of upcoming developments within London.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the assessment of new developments from a design perspective, ensuring projects are commercially viable and aesthetically appealing.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external consultants, ensuring they are well briefed and work to agreed principles.
- Adopt a flexible and creative approach, providing design solutions to help unlock potential issues.
- Work with internal planning teams and other key stakeholders to ensure projects can achieve planning consent.
Experience of managing the design process for high value, complex mixed use or apartment led projects, gained from within an Architectural Practice or Residential Developer would be appropriate for the role. In addition, all candidates will need to be capable of forming effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders, and exhibit a calm, professional approach to problem solving.
