Potensis Selection are working with a leading London based residential and mixed-use developer who are looking to recruit a Commercial Leasing Manager to join their Commercial Real Estate Team. The main focus of this role is to assist with coordinating and delivering sales and leasing strategies across our client’s commercial real estate portfolio. The role involves managing marketing initiatives, overseeing transactions, and working closely with third-party brokers, agents, surveyors, and solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full commercial transaction lifecycle, including agent and professional appointments, negotiations, conveyancing, and completion of lettings and sales.
  • Manage legal and technical due diligence by coordinating with solicitors, consultants, compliance teams, and internal technical teams, including CPSEs and fit-out approvals.
  • Provide market, valuation, and commercial advice to support site acquisitions, disposals, development strategy, and S106 negotiations for commercial premises.
  • Develop and implement commercial leasing and sales strategies in collaboration with commercial, residential sales, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including joint venture partners, agents, brokers, solicitors, purchasers, and tenants.
  • Advise on and support the management of the existing commercial portfolio, including lease renewals, rent reviews, operational asset acquisitions, and estate management matters.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Have experience advising on new-build retail, office, or industrial assets, although candidates with a strong background in a single commercial sector will also be considered.
  • Be a degree-educated, MRICS qualified commercial real estate surveyor with around 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Have a proven track record in transaction management, gained in a corporate real estate, asset management, or commercial agency environment.
