They are actively looking to acquire new sites and as a consequence are looking to recruit an Assistant Land Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new potential sites for residential development opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow strong working relationships with landowners, land agents, local authorities, and housing associations to ensure that new land opportunities are cultivated.
  • Collaborate with internal teams – particularly land and technical teams to ensure the sites can be progressed through the planning and development process.
  • Running appraisal scenarios on new pipeline sites and detailed feasibility studies, ensuring that plans for new sites are realistic and financially viable.
  • Help to manage the negotiation process in order to secure new sites and take them into contract.
  • Work with the wider land team to support new bids where appropriate.

Ideally, you will be working in a similar position, with experience of securing new sites with a residential developer, however strong consideration would be given to someone who has an understanding of the planning system, has an educational background in real estate and is looking to develop their career within land acquisition. It is essential that you are ambitious, highly organised, commercially astute and have the ability to work as a team player. Our client is growing rapidly and is able to offer long term progression for high performers.
