This isn't just another recruitment desk. We're looking for an ambitious Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a rapidly developing US market across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to build a specialist division in one of the fastest-growing and highest-value regions within our US business.

The foundations are already in place. We've completed extensive client mapping, established relationships with key businesses, and identified significant growth opportunities. Now we're looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant with the drive, creativity and commercial mindset to turn that opportunity into a market-leading desk.

If you thrive on business development, enjoy opening new doors and want to build something with genuine long-term earning potential, this role offers exactly that.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Recruitment Consultant you'll have full ownership of a high-growth territory, working with construction businesses across one of the busiest regions in the United States. While this role is heavily focused on business development, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle and have the autonomy to shape your own strategy. This is an opportunity to establish yourself as the market expert while building a highly profitable desk with exceptional earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and grow our Construction market across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Drive business development through creative and proactive sales activity.
  • Manage the full 360 recruitment process from client acquisition through to placement.
  • Partner with senior decision-makers across the construction industry.
  • Develop your own market strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with our leadership team as the US business continues to expand.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. You'll ideally have:

  • Proven 360 recruitment experience with a strong background in business development.
  • Experience recruiting within Construction, Engineering or another technical sector.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to build new client relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for winning new business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The resilience and ambition to build a market with significant long-term potential.

Construction recruitment experience is preferred, but recruiters from other technical industries are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Receive

  • £40,000–£50,000 basic salary.
  • Uncapped commission with realistic six-figure earning potential.
  • Ownership of one of the company's most exciting emerging markets.
  • A warm starting point with mapped clients and existing relationships already established.
  • Clear progression into senior and leadership opportunities.
  • Mentoring from experienced US market specialists.
  • International exposure with future opportunities to travel to our US offices.
  • One day working from home each week following probation.
  • Early finish Fridays.
  • Additional day off for your birthday.
  • Regular team incentives and trips for top performers.
  • Access to our employee benefits and local business discount scheme.
  • Breakfast and lunch in the office every period.
  • Snack in the office every week.
