Potensis Selection are working with a large house builder based in Kent who are looking to recruit an Engineer to join their growing Technical Team. Our client is a well-established national house builder with a strong regional presence, delivering and maintaining high-quality, affordable homes. With a strong focus on compliance, quality, and community impact, they offer a collaborative working environment with long-term career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage services records and enquiries for new developments, including timely payment of new infrastructure to support build programmes.
- Oversee externally appointed Consulting Engineers delivering designs for external works, including foundations, estate roads and sewers, and associated S38, S104 and S278 agreements.
- Review and evaluate consultants’ designs to ensure compliance, value engineering best practice and statutory requirements.
- Secure and manage adoption agreements, ensuring bonds are implemented, reduced and discharged in line with the development programme.
- Contribute to structural design input for superstructure elements.
- Coordinate with the Technical Team and stakeholders to discharge planning conditions and building regulations.
