Overview

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Waking Night Support Worker. Prospect House is located in the heart of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire and provides a residential service supporting 9 people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or dementia.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with their personal, physical, and emotional needs throughout the night.
  • Completion of nightly duties, including domestic and administrative tasks.
  • Undertaking training online and face to face where necessary.
  • Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
  • Personal care.

Shift pattern

Hours: 35 hours per week, waking nights 9pm to 8am. Weekend and bank holiday working is required.

  • The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
  • Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Motivated and a team player.
  • Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or dementia is preferred but not essential.
  • Drivers preferred.
