Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Here at Redwood House in Broadstone, Poole, we provide a supported living service for 6 adults aged 18 to 48 with learning disabilities, ASD, and other health needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support some amazing people!

As a Support Worker with Potens, you'll do more than just work a shift - you'll help create joy, independence, and new opportunities for the people we support.

What we'll give you:

  • £13.50 per hour.
  • 40 hours per week, we operate a two week rolling rota.
  • Working every other weekend.
  • Double pay on Bank Holidays.

What you'll be doing:

  • Promoting and supporting independent living skills.
  • Encouraging choice and involvement.
  • We take part in lots of exciting activities here at Redwood House, like visiting the beach, watching movies at the cinema and attending music festivals. Every day is exciting and different!
  • Every day is different - but the focus is always the same: building confidence, independence and real relationships.
  • Supporting with a small amount of personal care.
  • Shifts will take place between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm and will include a mixture of days and evenings. Shifts may at times, start at 7am. Sleep in shifts are also available (£55.50 per night).
  • Working every other weekend.
