What you’ll be doing:
The people we support include various adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and some forensic histories. It's challenging but extremely rewarding for those looking to make a real difference. You'll support on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community. Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs. Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are. This is within a spacious detached house with 10 en-suite rooms over 3 floors.
Who you are:
We want individuals with a passion to support others and make a difference in their everyday lives. Can you work independently, multitask, and organise? Have a positive attitude under pressure? Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities. Experience essential: 2 years in the mental health sector required. Flexible shifts will involve earlies, lates, nights, and weekends. Drivers preferred with a manual driver's licence who have been driving for over 1 year.
