Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, complex needs, and autism.
What we’ll give you:
- £13.60 per hour.
- 33 hours per week.
- Shifts will be 8pm to 8am, 3 nights per week.
- Weekend and Bank holiday working required.
- We operate a two week rolling rota.
- Working alternate weekends.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in managing the care of the people that live with us, monitoring the quality and delivery of the service.
- Lead by example, motivate and develop the team to deliver a high-quality provision.
- All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.
- You will be required to operate hoists and will have previous experience of doing this.
- Settling residents of an evening and supporting through the night.
- Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.
- Providing person-centered care.
Who you are:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working within the social care sector.
- Experience of working with either learning disabilities, autism, or epilepsy is essential.
- You will have previous experience in operating hoists.
- You have the ability and passion to support the individual needs of our residents, providing high quality person centered care.
- An NVQ level 2 or above in health and social care would be preferable but not essential; if you don’t have this, then you will have a willingness to achieve.
