Our new and exciting vacancy: Deputy Manager. Are you currently a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker looking for a new challenge or direction? If so, this role as a Deputy Manager within our Wallasey Service may be for you!

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance and knowledge with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular staff supervisions and training sessions to promote professional development within the service.
- Support the staff team to maintain a high level of care that is required for the needs of the People We Support and for the service.
- Liaise with external agencies, families, and other MDT to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
- Support the Registered Manager with the rota system, incorporating 1-2-1 hours for the People We Support.
- Have good knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance and CQC Framework.
- Strong ability to use own initiative.
Who you are:
- Must have a Full UK clean Driving License.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within health and social care.
- Have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and be willing to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
- You will be trustworthy, reliable and can communicate effectively.
- You will have a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth.
- You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practices with an open mind to learning.

- A Driver is essential due to service requirements and for the needs of the People We Support.
- Must be available for immediate start pending suitable DBS and reference checks, preferably on the update service.
