We are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our Service in Birkenhead. If you like helping people develop and grow, read on, as you may be a perfect fit for our team. The people we support like and want staff who will motivate, participate and be as enthusiastic as they are.

What you’ll be doing:

The people we support are adults who may have learning disabilities, behaviours that are challenging, and/or mental health needs. You will support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being, participating and being as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are. You will maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills within a busy, vibrant residential service.

Who you are:

  • Able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise work to suit the people we support
  • Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external
  • Willing to be flexible as shifts can include weekends
  • Experience in care or support work is essential
  • Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure
  • Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities
  • Females only due to service requirements
