We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Female Support Worker at our new service in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.

What you’ll be doing:
- You'll support on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community.
- Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
- Personal care will be required.
- Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
- Working within a residential setting with adults who may have learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
Who you are:
- We want individuals with a passion to support others and make a difference in their everyday lives.
- Flexible as shift patterns can vary between 12/13 hours per shift, ranging from 6.45 am start to 9.00 pm finish.
- You may be required to pick up waking nights/sleeps, depending on the needs of the service.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure.
- Driver preferred.
- Female only due to service requirements.
