We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity at Potens for a Senior Support Worker. Heathfield Gardens is a residential care home located in Tibshelf, caring for up to 11 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is your chance to make a significant impact in the lives of others while working in a vibrant and supportive environment as part of a strong and passionate team.

What we’ll give you:

  • £14.00 per hour.
  • 35 hours per week – shifts will include 7 am‑2 pm, 2 pm‑9 pm and waking nights 9 pm‑7 am. Weekend working is required on a rota basis.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and supporting the staff team.
  • Delivering high‑quality person‑centred care.
  • Supporting people to live their lives fully and as independently as possible.
  • Ensuring individuals are fully involved in all aspects of their care – supporting their choices.
  • Supporting people to make choices in their daily living activities.
  • Managing care plans, risk assessments & medication (MAR).
  • Ensuring CQC compliance and completion of audits.

Who you are:

  • An existing Senior Support Worker or an experienced Support Worker looking to progress.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to complete).
  • Compassionate, organised, and thrives in a busy environment.
  • Driver preferred but not essential.
