We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker at Queens Court (Arbennig Unit), Old Colwyn.
What we’ll give you:
- £12.60 per hour
- 40 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:
- The people we support are adults who have a range of diverse needs.
- Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being.
- Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
- Personal care may be involved.
- Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
- Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
This is within a large, spacious Victorian residential house with extensive gardens.
Who you are:
- Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
- Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
- Have an NVQ level 2 or are willing to work towards.
- Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
- Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
- Flexible as you may be required to cover some waking night shifts as required due to service needs.
