We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Female senior support worker at our service in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.
You must hold a valid, clean manual driving license!

What you'll be doing:
- Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive wellābeing.
- Personal care will be required.
- Working alongside the service manager & staff members to maintain a high level of support that's required for the service needs.
- Be part of an onācall system after probation.
- Participate, and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
- Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
- Some admin duties will need to be completed.
- Working within a residential setting with 4 adults who may have Learning disabilities and or complex needs.
Who you are:
- Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
- Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
- Experienced.
- Have a level 3 NVQ or are willing to work towards one.
- Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
- Quick learner, handsāon, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
- Willing to be flexible as shift rota can include days and nights, and be part of an onācall system.
- A driver is essential due to service requirements.
- Females only due to service requirements.
