We have an opportunity for Support Workers to join our team! This is a great role for you to continue your career in care or if you’re new to the care sector we have a comprehensive learning package that will support you in your new role and give you all the tools to do the job!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting people to live independently, helping with budgeting finances, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking.
  • Supporting in the community – helping people to access activities and days out.
  • Developing personal and practical skills to enhance independent living.
  • Being responsible for safeguarding the individuals we support.
  • Administering medication when required – full training will be given.
  • Currently we have 4 young adults with learning disabilities. You will be supporting 1‑1 and at times 2‑1.
  • Continue to promote positive well‑being.
  • Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
  • Maintain and develop community links, including accessing community and leisure pursuits to support independent living and life skills.
  • Personal care may be involved.
