Join our team as a Recruitment & Compliance Operations Officer on a 6 months Fixed Term contract. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. This role enables you to work from home, our Head Office or a mixture of both. All applicants must live within a commutable distance to our Head Office in Birkenhead, Merseyside.

In this pivotal role, you will streamline recruitment and compliance processes, improve the candidate experience, and ensure we remain compliant with employment law and international sponsorship regulations. Your work will directly influence our ability to hire and retain high-quality talent.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead recruitment operations and compliance support across the organisation
  • Manage the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) and ensure full compliance with UKVI regulations
  • Enhance the candidate experience by simplifying hiring processes and reducing time-to-hire
  • Monitor agency usage and reduce spend through effective permanent hiring strategies
  • Identify and retain employees on visas through proactive sponsorship management
  • Train and support hiring managers and system users across various systems, Access Recruit and Screening to name a few
  • Maintain and develop MI dashboards and deliver insights that support strategic decisions

Who you are:

  • Experience in recruitment, compliance, and onboarding processes
  • Knowledge of UKVI sponsorship procedures and legal compliance
  • Confident using recruitment and HR systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to support hiring managers
  • A data-driven mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential
