We’re looking for an Office Assistant to join Postworks. This is a hands-on role at the centre of our workplace operations. You’ll help keep the office organised, welcoming and well looked after, while supporting the wider team with everything from facilities and suppliers to onboarding and administration. No two days are the same; one morning might involve organising deliveries and preparing meeting spaces, while the afternoon could be spent coordinating a supplier visit or helping set up a new starter. We’re looking for someone proactive, dependable and comfortable getting stuck in wherever needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing reception, visitors and incoming deliveries
- Handling inbound post and distributing it internally
- Keeping shared spaces, kitchens and meeting rooms clean, organised and fully stocked
- Ordering office supplies, consumables and weekly groceries
- Coordinating suppliers, maintenance visits and site access
- Supporting onboarding for new starters, including equipment setup with IT
- Maintaining supplier records and asset tracking information
- Supporting general administration across the business
- Assisting with workplace health and safety checks and documentation
- Occasionally visiting our second Northampton site for stock checks or operational support. Mileage costs are reimbursed
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A practical, proactive approach to work
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Confidence using standard office software
- Positive, approachable and team focused
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
It’s a bonus if you also have:
- Experience using Google Workspace, including Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Previous office administration or operations experience
- Experience supporting facilities or supplier coordination
- A naturally methodical and organised working style
