The Role:
As a Freelance Workplace Needs assessor you will undertake Workplace Needs Assessments to a wide range of individuals in the workplace with challenges including neurodiverse, health conditions, or unique work requirements.
The role requires an assessor that has experience in various areas such as attention deficit disorder (ADHD), autism, menopause, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia. Please note, this list is not exhaustive.
As an assessor, you will work with individuals to enable them to achieve their goals and objectives in the workplace based on their unique strengths and challenges.
We are looking for Assessors in Bristol.Flexibility to assess both virtually and face to face in and around your chosen area within a 95-mile radius.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments with employees to understand their job functions, challenges, and needs.
- Identify any technology, equipment, or reasonable adjustments needed to improve work effectiveness and comfort
- Provide a written report with justifications as per agreed service level agreements

- Problem solver Ability to create practical solutions to challenges in the workplace

- Collaborative approach experience of working with various stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
Education and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role providing Workplace Needs Assessment in a corporate environment
- Degree educated – recognised relevant qualification
- Extensive knowledge of neurodiverse conditions e.g. ADHD, autism, dyslexia etc.
- Understanding of relevant legislation such as the Equality Act
- Good knowledge of common Assistive Technology software including Read & Write, Dragon, and Mindview.
- High level of emotional intelligence
These are freelance roles for Bristol- you must have a registered Umbrella/LTD company.
