We are looking for two friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join the team at our lovely little shop on Balham High Road, SW12. We offer a guaranteed number of working hours each week, generous staff discount and a great working environment. This role is for at least 12-16 hours a week with shifts at the weekend and during the week, so availability to work across the week is needed. There will also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at other Postmark stores. If you’ve got bags of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude then we want to hear from you! Please note - As this role will involve opening the shop and occasionally working alone you must be 18 years or older to apply for this position. We are sorry we cannot consider anyone younger at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers warmly who enter the shop
- Merchandising to ensure the shop floor looks its best and has a great selection of products, especially bestsellers, available.
- Assisting shoppers to find items they are looking for.
- Answering queries from customers.
- Processing payments
- Keeping the store tidy and clean
- Pricing merchandise
- Assisting in receiving deliveries and stocking the store.
- Working as part of a team to achieve store objectives and create a positive work environment.
