You'll be Postman's first IT team member in EMEA, providing hands‑on support to the region, maintaining local office infrastructure, and bridging the gap between US and India‑based teams. This is a foundational hire: you'll establish follow‑the‑sun coverage for the growing EMEA workforce and shape how IT operates in the region from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct IT support to Postman employees across EMEA time zones, including troubleshooting, account management, hardware support, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Serve as the regional IT point of contact for the UK office and remote EMEA employees.
  • Manage local hardware inventory, including provisioning, shipping, and refresh for EMEA-based team members.
  • Maintain and support office IT infrastructure (network, AV, conference rooms) for the UK office.
  • Collaborate with US and India IT teams to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent service quality across time zones.
  • Identify and elevate regional issues, whether that’s a vendor that doesn’t work well in EMEA or a process that assumes everyone is in Pacific time.
  • Contribute to global IT documentation and knowledge base, ensuring EMEA‑specific nuances are captured.
  • Support regional compliance requirements (GDPR‑related IT controls, data residency considerations).

About You

  • 3+ years in IT operations or support, ideally in a tech company environment.
  • Strong Mac support skills. Postman is an Apple‑first environment, and you should be comfortable with macOS troubleshooting, Jamf, and Apple Business Manager.
  • Experience with Okta (or similar IdP) for user lifecycle management, SSO troubleshooting, and access provisioning.
  • Familiarity with SaaS administration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian.
  • Self‑directed and comfortable working independently. You'll be the only IT person in the region initially, so you need to be resourceful and proactive.
  • Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset. You’re representing IT to every employee in the region.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across time zones with US and India‑based teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience as the first or early IT hire in a region. You know what it takes to build from scratch.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and its implications for IT operations (data handling, device management, etc.).
  • Network infrastructure experience (Meraki, Cisco, or similar) for office support.
  • Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools like CrowdStrike.
