This is a new, exciting position with a long-established security solutions provider in the UK. The role is to join as a Business Development Manager in the UK. This is a forward-thinking company that provides cutting-edge technology, video surveillance, access control and remote monitoring that helps ensure the safety of people and businesses globally.
Location: National - UK (remote)
Key responsibilities:
- Develop new business across key verticals in the UK, hunt for and cultivate opportunities.
- Solution-selling B2B, offering security installation in the form of video surveillance, access control, intruder, cloud-based security solutions and remote monitoring.
- Autonomous in generating leads, managing appointments, and converting marketing strategies into sales.
- Join a sales team of 8, meet and exceed targets.
Candidate:
We are seeking candidates from directly within the electronic security sector who can hit the ground running. Minimum 3 years experience. Ideal candidate is ambitious, disciplined, well-organised, focuses on details, and has the desire to close deals. Experience managing long, complex sales cycles through to fruition, winning business. Demonstrable experience in high-pressure sales environments, selling security systems into the commercial or public sector (Ireland). Confident at all business levels, interfaces with various organisations across sectors. Polished oral, written and presentation skills are essential.
Package:
Basic salary £70,000 / £75,000 with realistic OTE £140,000+ and uncapped commission structure. Includes healthcare, pension, life insurance, car allowance or company car, tablet, phone and home office. Offers opportunities for training, career progression & development.
