We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Remedial Plumber to deliver high-quality plumbing and water hygiene remedial works. This role is primarily site-based and involves carrying out repairs, upgrades, and system improvements in line with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing remedial works including pipework modifications, valve replacements, and system upgrades
- Diagnose faults, leaks, and non-compliant installations, providing effective solutions
- Assist with and carry out tank cleaning, disinfection, and system flushing works
- Ensure correct application of control measures and disinfection procedures
- Work from risk assessments, method statements, and site instructions
- Complete works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and certificates
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other site personnel
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in remedial plumbing and maintenance works
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Experience working on-site, including plant rooms and confined spaces
- Good understanding of water systems and general plumbing compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience in water hygiene or Legionella control
- Knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, and relevant British Standards
- Experience with tank cleaning and disinfection
Qualifications
- NVQ Plumbing Level 2 / 3 (or equivalent)
- G3 Unvented (preferred)
- Clean & Disinfection Hot & Cold Water Systems (preferred)
- Confined Space Awareness (preferred)
