Driver (Multi Drop) Immediate Start Available. This role involves delivering goods and collecting mail from registered customers, offloading collected goods at designated locations at the depot, and accurately completing billing records, incident reports, and daily vehicle maintenance. This is a temporary position to cover absence.
Responsibilities
- Prompt and timely adherence to route schedule.
- Care and security of customers' goods.
- Organization of collected mail.
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operation of Android-based tablet navigation system.
Personal Specification
- Full Driving License for 3.5t Van.
- At least 2 years of driving experience, preferably multi-drop.
- Reliability and honesty.
- Excellent attention to detail and good timekeeping.
- Commitment to customer care.
- Good reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to lift and move tubs, sacks, or pouches of mail.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently on repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Aware of health and safety issues.
Working Hours & Location
11:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week. Location: 13-15 Sydenham Road, Belfast.
Compensation
National Living Wage + Bonus + Overtime.
