To assist the Maintenance Engineer with the following:

  • Inspection, repair and upkeep of various equipment and machinery.
  • Deal with any electrical or mechanical breakdowns of production machinery.
  • Maintain all site services and liaise with sub-contract engineers when required.
  • Implement and adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule for all key production machines.
  • Play a key role in continuous improvement to help reduce down-time.
  • Ensuring the organisation complies with safety regulations while maintenance takes place.
  • Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out.
  • A knowledge of electro-pneumatic and hydraulic control systems and previous experience of plastics thermoforming machines / extrusion machines is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
