Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated, compassionate SEN Support Staff to work in schools across Horsham for the new academic year starting September 2026. This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and a range of additional learning needs. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN
- Supporting academic learning and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
- Helping to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Delivering tailored interventions to promote confidence and independence
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or voluntary settings all welcomed)
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications an advantage, but transferable experience warmly considered
