Responsibilities

  • Prepare and service guest rooms to Fairmont's exacting luxury standards
  • Ensure impeccable cleanliness and presentation of bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities
  • Replenish linens, towels, and guest supplies with care and consistency
  • Report maintenance issues promptly, ensuring rooms remain in perfect condition
  • Handle guest belongings and privacy with the utmost respect and discretion
  • Support VIP room preparations, ensuring personalised touches and flawless presentation
  • Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked state
  • Respond to guest requests with warmth, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset
  • Collaborate with Floor Supervisors, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure timely room readiness
  • Follow all cleaning procedures, including deep-cleaning schedules and brand standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and manual handling
  • Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to stay aligned with service expectations
  • Support lost-and-found procedures with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused working environment
