Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Director, this role focuses on supporting and building PLP’s external profile and audience engagement. You will work on securing media coverage, creating day‑to‑day content, and developing digital channels while collaborating with colleagues, partners, and clients to ensure timely, inclusive, and impactful communications.

You will be joining the team at a significant moment. The issues we work on—from immigration to AI—are more salient than ever, and you will help refresh our visual identity and shape our narrative.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with journalists and secure media coverage.
  • Create day‑to‑day content across digital channels.
  • Develop and maintain digital channels.
  • Ensure communications are timely, inclusive, and impactful.
Qualifications
  • Digitally savvy, media‑smart creative storyteller with strong news judgement and experience securing media coverage.
  • Able to translate complex legal and policy issues into content that engages and inspires across different platforms and audiences.
  • Collaborative, works across teams at all levels with external partners and clients.
  • Excellent project manager—organised, determined, and able to develop plans and put them into action.
