We are seeking an experienced Service Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to move on their career to the next step. The role will be to oversee and control the daily delivery of service operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will play a key role in coordinating planned maintenance and reactive works, supporting engineers, and acting as the central link between clients, engineers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising and coordinating PPM schedules and reactive service requests
- Conducting site visits to quote on jobs
- Managing field engineers, subcontractors, and third-party suppliers
- Tracking workloads and job progress through service management software (e.g., Simpro or similar)
- Producing RAMS and ensuring all works meet health & safety requirements
- Serving as the primary contact for customers, contracts, and stakeholders
- Participating in contract review meetings and preparing KPI performance reports
- Reviewing service reports and resolving any compliance or quality issues
- Preparing and issuing quotations for remedial and additional works
- Assisting with invoicing, tracking service revenue, and supporting forecasts
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems
About You
You will be an organised, motivated professional with a structured approach to service coordination and a strong focus on customer delivery. Previous experience in a Service Manager or Senior Alarm Engineer role is required, along with a background within the fire and security sector.
