Working as part of a busy logistics department, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient coordination of freight operations, ensuring high levels of accuracy, customer service and operational compliance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing packing lists (manual and scanned) and orders for dispatch
- Coordinating and booking shipments accurately
- Managing stock records, including weekly stock checks and location tracking
- Liaising with warehouse teams to ensure correct handling and storage of goods
- Arranging deliveries for storage accounts
- Producing and issuing packing lists and documentation to customers
- Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring effective communication
- Managing key customer accounts and responding to specific requirements
- Raising monthly invoices for storage accounts
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
Previous experience within logistics, freight forwarding or warehouse operations
Good understanding of logistics processes and procedures
Strong organisational and administrative skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships
Able to manage workload effectively, both independently and as part of a team
