About the Role: As Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the agency’s growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through email outreach, cold and warm calling, social media, events, and networking.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, nurture prospects through the sales funnel, and close high-value deals.
- Pitching & Proposals: Create compelling proposals, deliver persuasive pitches, and negotiate terms to win client trust and business.
- Client Onboarding: Partner with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful campaign launches.
- Account Growth: Spot opportunities to upsell services and increase client value through strategic guidance and consultative selling.
- Referrals & Partnerships: Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and unlock new partnership channels.
- CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
- Client Billing & Retention: Oversee billing accuracy, contribute to client satisfaction, and play a key role in client retention strategies.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition—ideally within a digital agency or marketing consultancy.
- Digital Marketing Know-How: Familiarity with SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Content, Web Design, and Creative Services will set you apart.
- Strategic Thinking: Able to identify customer pain points and align services to meet their goals with a tailored approach.
- Self-Starter: Highly driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised & Methodical: Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with experience in using CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline.
