Key Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:

Territory Management Maximise revenue across your Glasgow territory through regular client meetings and ROI-focused activity.

Account Development Achieve sales KPIs through upselling and cross-selling into an existing account base.

Consultative Selling Build trusted relationships, uncover business needs, and offer tailored service solutions.

Client Enablement Deliver product training and proactive support to help clients get the best value from their services.

Market Awareness Stay ahead of competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic sales plans.

CRM Management Record all client interactions and sales pipeline data accurately in the CRM.

Team Collaboration Work closely with the Area Sales Director, internal teams, and head office to drive client success.
What Were Looking For:

A minimum of 3 years\’ experience as a Key Account Manager, Regional Account Manager, or similar field-based B2B role.

A proven track record of success in fast-paced sales environments with short sales cycles.

Ability to sell service-based solutions and present compelling ROI outcomes to senior stakeholders.

Strong objection-handling skills, ideally within a non-discounting pricing structure.

Familiarity with Challenger, SPIN, SNAP, or other structured sales methodologies.

Excellent commercial acumen and territory planning capability.
