Post Office Counter Clerk
Contract Type: Fixed Term Until 31 August 2026, 18 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
Pay rates:
- 18-20: £10.85
- 21+: £12.71
To be employed in this role you must be over the age of 18 and complete a safeguarding check.
3‑Day Post Office Counter Training – Covers Introduction, Processes, Practical Skills & Systems. Training location may vary; flexibility required.
About the role
As a Post Office Counter Clerk you’ll provide exceptional customer service, support travel money and documents, and manage bills and banking. Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivering an exceptional customer service to all customers
- Managing queues and ensuring customers can access the services they need quickly and simply
- Meeting high standards of governance and attention to detail
- Being part of a team and supporting colleagues
