What to expect

As a Partner Capability Lead, you will join us on our journey and undertake an influential role by working closely with the Partner Capability Manager to focus on implementing operational strategies, supporting Partner field teams, and driving consistent standards, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will support delivery of Partner operational standards, policies, and compliance requirements and work closely with Partner field teams to improve operational performance and customer outcomes. The Partner Capability Lead will implement Partner action plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and act as an operational contact between Partner field teams and internal Post Office functions. They will identify risks or underperformance and escalate with recommended actions whilst supporting the rollout of new initiatives, tools, and ways of working. How our people behave is as important to Post Office, as what is delivered. The Partner Capability Lead will role model the Post Office behaviours and demonstrate a Partner first mindset.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will require a proven track record of strong relationship building skills within a retail environment, ideally in a Corporate Account or Partner Management role. In addition you will need:

  • Experience in operational management within retail, ideally multi-site
  • Be commercially orientated with good business acumen, analytical and numerate, with the ability to understand and interpret trends from data
  • Passion for great Customer Service and a desire to drive excellence
  • Demonstrable experience of leading on the delivery of Project Milestones
  • An understanding of sales performance coaching and ability to deliver engaging and effective coaching
