As a Talent Development Partner, you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role reporting to the Talent Development Manager. The Talent Development Partner is responsible for supporting the design, coordination and delivery of impactful Performance, Talent, and Development initiatives as part of the Talent Management strategy. This role plays a key part in building enterprise-wide initiatives that support the overall organisational culture, performance, and transformation agenda.

The Talent Development Partner will manage and communicate the annual performance and talent cycle. Work with key stakeholders to manage operational delivery of performance and talent activity and design and develop supportive learning workshops for colleagues and line managers. Facilitate performance and talent calibration to evaluate performance and potential and design and implement career frameworks.

The Talent Development Partner acts as a trusted advisor providing coaching and advice on performance, talent and development processes and programmes to ensure that we are supporting the business to develop our talented colleagues for the future success of Post Office. The Talent Partner will work in collaboration with the wider People and functional leadership teams to ensure stakeholders understand and are fully engaged with all performance, talent, and development activities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent experience in HR, L&D, Psychology, or related field
  • Relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIPD, coaching, psychometrics, development tools)

Experience

  • Strong experience in designing and delivering performance, talent and development initiatives in a large, complex organisation
  • Confident working with, providing guidance and influencing senior stakeholders and executives on performance, talent and development initiatives
  • Skilled in assessing and advancing performance, talent and development initiatives based on feedback and external analysis
  • Experience working with external learning partners, internal and external system partners, coaches, or leadership development providers
  • Able to evaluate performance, talent and development outcomes and translate insights into action
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and information confidentially and discreetly
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
