The Solution Architect for the Finance Transformation Programme will play a critical role in shaping, designing and delivering the technology solutions required to support POL’s future finance capabilities, processes and operating model. The role will ensure that all proposed solutions are architecturally sound, aligned to the enterprise technology strategy, and capable of supporting both current and future business needs. The Solution Architect will define end‑to‑end solution designs within the Finance Transformation scope. This includes ensuring architectural coherence, integration across platforms, and alignment with programme objectives, business processes, and wider organisational technology roadmaps.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Significant experience as a Solution Architect in large-scale transformation programmes, ideally within finance, financial services or large retail environments.
- Strong background designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions across ERP, finance platforms, integrations, data and analytics. Ideally SAP implementations.
- Experience working in multi‑vendor, multi‑system environments with a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Exceptional communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on technical detail.
- Deep understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, security best practice and cloud/enterprise platform trends.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
- Comfortable working in high‑complexity transformation environment with evolving requirements.
