What to expect

As a Business Change Manager, you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. You will be working with the Programme/Project teams, to ensure that change initiatives are effectively delivered at an operational level, minimising resistance and achieving intended business outcomes and benefits. This role offers you a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact, drive innovation, and contribute to shaping the future of our organisation and the communities we serve.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in delivering Business Change in complex, multi-site environments (ideally retail or network-based). As a Business Change Manager, you will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful outcomes and business decisions. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong understanding of change frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong communication and engagement capability.
  • Experience in change impact assessment and readiness planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and navigating resistance to change.
