What to expect

The Digital Copywriter is a key member of the digital team, helping to both shape and create content across our digital channels. Responsible for modifying existing and writing new content you will work closely with a range of stakeholders in the business ensuring all digital content is clear, engaging and tailored to fit our different segment needs.

You’ll create clear, engaging, on-brand copy across the Post Office website and mobile apps whilst helping to build a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement and high performance, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective content, user journeys, conversion and supporting our wider commercial strategy. You will write new content and improve existing SEO areticles, edit and review third party content for accurancy and te, help maitian house style and tone whilst managing multiple copy projects at once without losing focus on quality.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience writing copy in a Digital envrionment. In addition you will also possess:

• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Able to write in a clear and consistent tone of voice
• High attention to detail and strong grammar
• Confident working with others and giving feedback
• Good understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them
• Experience supporting or shaping content strategies
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• An understanding of how AI is changing the search landscape and content requirements would be beneficial
