As a Cash/Coin Processer you will join us on our journey to keep the heart of the community beating. This role is instrumental to the daily running of the business. You will undertake a truly valuable role responsible for bringing a high standard of customer service within the cash centre environment.

You can expect variety. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing cash and coins using desktop and high-speed note and coin counting machines, providing robust and accurate data to strict deadlines, and delivering exceptional quality of service for all customers. This role offers you an exciting opportunity to learn and develop new skills and work in the core of the Post Office Cash Centre, alongside this you will also build rewarding relationships with customers and colleagues.

You will be a trustworthy, genuine, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with deadlines, processes, and data. You will ideally have cash handling experience, however people with a good attitude and desire to learn will also be considered. As a Cash/Coin processer, you will have:

  • Basic level of computer literacy.
  • Possess the ability to follow clear instructions and processes.
  • Can do attitude with willingness to be flexible in attendance patterns and roles undertaken.
