As an Onboarding Team Lead, you are responsible for leading one or more sub teams within the Onboarding team, delivering the end-to-end onboarding journey, always modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. This includes overseeing onboarding actions and ensuring a smooth transition to operational readiness.

A key part of the role will be to work closely with internal stakeholders, providing organisational and planning support for the onboarding process. The team lead will have input into the creation, design and delivery of revised process flows and the identification and implementation of postmaster centric improvements within their area.

Core Accountabilities include:

  • Deliver strong leadership to ensure work stream delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with any specific legislative, regulatory, or contractual requirements, including all POL policies, such as; the key policies and procedures on Confidentiality, Conflict of Interest, Business Continuity, Data Protection and Equal Opportunities
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.

Job Specific Accountabilities include:

  • Overseeing the time and performance management of the onboarding team
  • Lead and develop the onboarding team delivering the end-to-end Onboarding, Entity Change and Temporary postmaster journeys.
  • Performance and conformance of the Support Advisors, improving and simplifying SLA’s
  • Establishing clear lines of communication between various stakeholders who will work with the teams while prospective new postmasters turn to postmasters.

  • Microsoft office skills, including being highly proficient in Dynamics Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Good communication and data presentation skills ability to relate info into Business context
  • Flexible attitude to working, willing to work as part of a team and meet strict deadlines
  • Able to prioritise and work differently with different areas of the business
  • Consistently acts as a brand ambassador
