What to expect
The Agile Delivery Manager is a key member of the Digital team, responsible for the delivery of functional strategies, always modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. Acting as an expert advisor, the Agile Delivery Manager will apply advanced knowledge of Digital delivery management as well as broad knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
The Agile Delivery Manager will lead and be responsible for the scheduling, co-ordinating and managing releases across a portfolio of digital assets as well as sharing their expertise in coaching development teams to success, demonstrating best practice across Agile methodologies. They will drive a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance across their teams, being a key driver behind the delivery of our Digital products in order to meet our strategic goals and growth plans.
You will forecast capacity on release resources for future projects, plan, organise and facilitate relevant Agile Ceremonies as required and work with development teams facilitating the delivery of quality software using simple agile processes. Collaborating with other Product Owners, you will share best practice and ensure consistency in the application of agile methodologies across the Digital Delivery Software Development Teams.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience as a Release Manager within Agile delivery methodology and in responsive web delivery. In addition you will possess:
• A relevant Agile/Scrum Master qualification
• Substantial experience establishing cross functional stakeholder relationships
• Experience collaborating with peers and Senior Management in strategy delivery
• Strong knowledge and experience with AWS, Atlassian stack and git branching
• Experience of responsive web delivery is key as well as technical acumen combined with business acumen
• Excellent influencing and communication skills with the ability to utilise a range of techniques to deliver messages effectively, make an impact, and drive a successful outcome
