We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the successful transformation of our data landscape. This crucial role will be responsible for migrating legacy Oracle databases to a cloud-based Oracle database within AWS, utilizing GoldenGate for replication, and overseeing the integration of data processing and analytics tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
You will help define and deliver the current backlog of work needed to achieve the FDP initiatives and objectives for FY2025/26 and FY2026/27. Collaborating closely with different teams and stakeholders in the wider business and other product/process owners to ensure that their requirements are fully understood and captured, in order to accurately define and prioritise work for the technical delivery teams and 3rd Party Suppliers. Shaping these requirements and strategic outcomes into a Technology Product Roadmap, aligned to the programme and business objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in data transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, GoldenGate replication, and AWS Oracle environments.
- Familiarity with data architecture, data modelling, and data quality concepts.
- Experience with data processing and analytics tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to design, plan and facilitate effectively workshops both with the Scrum team and other stakeholders.
- Happy to be hands-on, and confident in writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Extensive experience of working in an Agile environment with a focus on fast-paced delivery.
- Significant experience in acting in a product ownership role, with a proven background working with agile development squads.
- Experience of working in Scrum teams using best practice.
